About Us

The Climate Protection Campaign (CPC) was initiated through the Manitou Springs’ Climate and Air Quality Committee. The committee was formed to assist the City of Manitou Springs with achieving the Five Milestones prescribed by the Climate Action Plan.

The mission of the Manitou Springs Climate protection Campaign is to encourage, facilitate and assist in the actualization of the goals and action steps outlined in the Manitou Springs Climate Action Plan, while continuing to educate and motivate all members of our community to conserve energy and reduce their carbon footprints.

The committee is made up of citizens, business owners, and folks that are interested in making Manitou Springs a better place to live, work and recreate.
